Our prayer leads us to works, our liturgy leads us to service. St. Rita Parish seeks to serve others in a variety of ways.
Taking seriously our Christian calling to serve the vulnerable and needy, St. Rita Parish has a robust social ministry program. All collections taken up for the poor are used to help needy families and individuals in our community.
We help with utility bills, medical bills and rental assistance. We also have a social worker on staff to offer financial counseling to help our friends today and in the future.
The "Red Box" is stocked daily with food, water and other necessities for those in need in our neighborhood. It is replenished from donations made to St. Rita's food pantry.
We are truly blessed at St. Rita to have parishioners wiling to share their time, talent, and treasure to help others.
After each Sunday 10:30am Mass, the St. Rita community pauses on their way home to enjoy each other's company -- and dozens of donuts. Stop for a snack, or even a meal, and enjoy fellowship.
