St. Rita Catholic Church and School in New Orleans have been a refuge in the Gert Town-Fontainebleau area since 1921. YOU can help us make our evangelization task more meaningful for the next decade of St. Rita Scholars and Parishioners.
We’re excited to partner with the School for this year's #iGiveCatholic giving day. After Black Friday, Shop Local Saturday, Cyber Monday, consider participating in #iGiveCatholic on Tuesday, December 1st.
This year, we seek to make renovations in our Parish multi-use facility - The Moreau Center. Partnering for the first time, St. Rita Parish and School join our fundraising efforts to better ready our community center for events and gatherings to come. Projects include repainting of the walls and ceiling, fresh window treatments, and upgraded storage solutions. Additionally, 10% of all funds raised will be set aside for Tuition Assistance and Teacher Support.
Join us for #iGiveCatholic 2020!
#iGiveCatholic is an online giving event for people across the nation (and the world!) to come together to raise as much money as possible for Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries located in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Diocese of Baton Rouge, Diocese of Biloxi, Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, and the Diocese of Jackson on one day: #GivingTuesday, December 1, 2020. Last year, #iGiveCatholic raised more than $7.4 million nationwide, with the Archdiocese of New Orleans again leading the way.
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end of year giving.
#iGiveCatholic is on #GivingTuesday, December 1, 2020 from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm (midnight to midnight) and takes place at www.iGiveCatholic.org.
